Simple and delicious, a great addition to any meal.
The filling is Tofutti cream cheese, onion, garlic, jalapeno, cumin, garlic salt and green onions. I processed the onion, garlic and jalapeno in the food processor then cooked them down until they were soft. I sliced the green onion fresh to leave a little crunch, then mixed all of the ingredients together in a bowl.
Pillsbury croissants are vegan! I think it is their only product that doesn’t have milk or butter. Open up a can, separate into triangles.
Lay a bacon strip down under a triangle, put a small spoonful of filling on the big end of the triangle and roll up like a croissant. Fold over the side edges that stick out and pinch the dough together to hold in the filling. Repeat with each croissant.
Bake as directed on package. Enjoy immediately.
